The Mars Hill Transfer Station is located at the end of Mill Street and is open Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The facility accepts recyclables, trash, wood, and other waste. Pine Tree Waste manages the operation and can be reached at (207) 532-6804.
Curbside trash collection takes place Friday mornings for bags marked with stickers, available for purchase at Mars Hill IGA.
Summer Hours
Wednesday evenings, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, beginning the first Wednesday in June and continuing through the last Wednesday in September.
