Waste Management

The Mars Hill Transfer Station located at the end of Mill Street is open on Saturday from 07:00 to 2:00. The transfer station is able to take recyclable, trash, wood, and numerous other types of trash. This is managed by Pine Tree Waste, 504-5151 or 1-800-697-6132

Curbside pickup of trash bags with stickers is on Friday mornings. Each bag must be marked with a sticker which can now be purchased at the Mars Hill IGA.

Summer Hours: Wednesday nights 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm , starting June 1ST thru September 28th the last Wednesday in September.
